Mizoram State E-Governance Society

In the matter of Society Registration Act, XXI of 1860 being an act for the registration of Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies  and  In the matter of Mizoram State E-Governance Society (MSEGS) (hereinafter referred to as the Society) pertaining to Rules and Regulations of Society for the administration and implementation of Information Technology and E-Governance projects.

Society Objectives

To provide the economic, scientific, technological social and cultural development by promoting the utilization of Information Technology. Computer-Communication Networks, Informatics etc. To promote further development of services, technologies, infrastructure and value added computer and computer communication services.

Department of Telecommunication, GoI has launched a new scheme to provide broadband connections to the rural and remote areas of the country through the existing rural wire line exchange of BSNL at affortable and reasonable prices by providing subsidy through Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF)
